9:50 Arrival at Izunuma Nosan
Meet at Izunuma Nosan Farmers Market.
There is a free parking lot nearby that can accommodate large buses.
10:00 – 10:30 Lotus Viewing Cruise
From late July to late August, the “Lotus Festival” is held at Lake Izunuma, Lake Uchinuma, and Lake Naganuma.
Why not take a cruise boat and enjoy Japan’s largest lotus blooms?
Note: Cruises may be canceled in case of severe weather.
10:40 – 11:00 Rest & Transfer
11:00 – 11:30 Blueberry Mousse-Making Experience
Using freshly picked blueberries from our own farm, you’ll make a fluffy, rich mousse.
This program is available only from mid-June to August. After preparation, the mousse will be chilled in the refrigerator and served for tasting after lunch.
Note: Depending on harvest conditions, frozen blueberries preserved in advance may be used.
11:40 – 12:30 Lunch at the Restaurant with Mousse Tasting
You can enjoy Izunuma Nosan’s original brand products such as Date’s Pure Red Pork and Izunuma Ham. We also offer special meal sets, including one that won the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award at the Local Production for Local Consumption Menu Contest. Customized meal plans are also available to suit your budget.
12:30 – 12:50 Shopping at the Farmers Market (Departure after shopping)
You can purchase fresh cuts of Date’s Pure Red Pork as well as ham and sausages from the Izunuma Ham series.
Seasonal vegetables and flowers from proud local farmers are also popular items.
At the specialty booth, a variety of items are available for purchase, including gelato made with milk produced in Miyagi Prefecture, pork buns, minced meat cutlets, sausages, and prepared side dishes.
